Training trainers for the community
Working with Bury Adult and Community Learning Service, RCT Training has delivered two successive 'Training Skills' programmes for people working in a range of Bury-based community/voluntary sector organisations - tenant-resident associations, a child care training organisation; a local self-help group for those suffering from MS, a local scout group. RCT delivered the programme each year in 2004 and 2005; and we now have 8 people (40% of the total taking the training) who have gained the Edexcel Advanced (level 3) Award in 'Training Skills'.
